Votaw Electric provided a one-day training class for all field employees.
The agenda included
the new NFPA 70E 2009 guidelines, Arc Flash Training including: personal protective
equipment (PPE), electrical safety training, and lock-out tag-out. Dan Votaw also provided
a refresher course on Lean Construction.
They provided their field employees with 11 cal/cm2 long-sleeve shirts and 12 cal/cm2 pants
that they are required to wear for their own safety in following the NFPA 70E guidelines.
